Ignition Interlock in Ohio – We are here for you
When you need an ignition interlock provider in Ohio, Guardian Interlock is here for you. Our interlock device is a breath analyzer that attaches to your vehicle’s ignition following a DUI charge. Before starting the car, you’ll use the breath analyzer to get a blood alcohol concentration reading. Great Customer Service!
Every appointment that I’ve had with Guardian has always been quite pleasant. Appointment times are met, it’s very quick, in and out with a nice conversation each visit. Ernie has a very clean and comfortable environment.
Pleasure to work with.
I would recommend Guardian interlock based on my initial customer service experience. Tawana went above and beyond with helping me by answering all of my questions and concerns regarding payments, fees, installation etc.. I’m new to this situation and requirement of the state but Tawana (with ease) set up my account and booked installation on two separate vehicles on the date that worked best for me. She was a pleasure to have been helped by and I hope my experience with this company continues to be seamless as well. Thanks Tawna!
Honest customer service.

Ohio Laws and Regulations
If a Ohio driver has a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) above .08 or refuses to take a breath analyzer test, their license will be confiscated immediately. If this happens to you, you’ll be granted a temporary seven-day driving permit while you request a court hearing.
Ohio also has different designations for Driving While Under the Influence (DUI) and Driving While Ability Impaired (DWAI). There are also heightened requirements for first, second, and third offenses. Each offense requires drivers to add an interlock device to their Ohio vehicle.
